Zurich Workplace Solutions (ZWS) provides administration and technology ecosystem services, serving as Administrator to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Employee Workplace Savings (DEWS) plan since inception and also to a qualified UAE end of service Plan. With more than 40 years in the region across the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar and over 323,000 customers, Zurich has demonstrated the pedigree, governance and capabilities necessary to deliver at scale.
ZWS has turned manual, fragmented end-of-service processes into a seamless, transparent and engaging savings ecosystem. It now administers USD 1.4 billion in Assets under Administration (AUA) across more than 70,000 members and more than 2,700 employers, including 79 Dubai Government and Free Zone authorities, making it the administrator of the largest regulated defined contribution scheme in the Middle East. ZWS differentiates itself through excellence in the fundamentals of member focused and technology-led administration, reducing complexity and cost for partners while improving speed, knowledge, transparency and security for members.
Member engagement is built into the digital delivery model through Arabic and English applications and portals showing balances, contributions, beneficiaries, fund performance and investment options. More than AED1.5bn in end-of-service benefits has been paid, demonstrating capacity when employees require access to funds.
The evidence supports a measured model of control, inclusion and member ownership as workplace-savings regulation develops across the GCC.
