New Leaders in the UAE: Award for Emirates

The airline is now the largest employer in the UAE and shows a high level of concern for the welfare of its 62,000 workers – many of whom are far away from their homelands.

The Emirates fleet is young and eco-efficient and the airline has done much to support the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and eco-tourism projects in the UAE and Australia. The judging panel felt that Emirates take their CSR responsibilities very seriously and are making good progress.
