The Foschini Group (TFG) is the only South African retailer with a presence on five continents. The portfolio encompasses 30 leading retail brands and 4,200 outlets in 26 countries. The group is headquartered in Cape Town and has been listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange since 1941. TFG has a track record of delivering attractive shareholder returns and credits its success to a superior customer experience. Each brand has a dedicated marketing team, and campaigns are tailored to target audiences. One TFG sporting brand features a real basketball court in a mall \u2014 complete with a DJ recording studio and shoe repair shop. Brands include fashion, athleisure, homeware, jewellery, cosmetics, and mobile phone services. The group benefits from a supply chain and manufacturing providers that promise quick turnarounds and responsible practices. Many of the offerings are produced in South Africa, providing local jobs and boosting manufacturing capacity. For the next year, the group has plans on vertical integration, continued customer satisfaction, and positive shareholder returns.
