\"Mapfre-AM\"<\/p>\n

The MAPFRE brand is known throughout Iberia and Latin America as one of the top global insurance providers. The group originated in Spain nearly 90 years ago, and its asset management arm \u2014 MAPFRE AM \u2014 has been maximising profits and ESG impacts over the past 30 years. MAPFRE AM has a presence in 25 countries, a workforce of 150 professionals and \u20ac40bn of equity under management. Expansion since 2016 has involved notable partnerships in Luxembourg, France and the US. MAPFRE AM took a 25 percent stake in French boutique fund manager, La Financi\u00e8re Responsible, which boasts a decade of experience in socially responsible investments. An alliance with US-based Boyar Value Group unlocked research-driven added value in small and mid-cap markets. MAPFRE AM subscribes to the principles of responsible investing and develops products that align profits with ESG performance. Its Responsible Inclusion fund invests in companies that proactively recruit people with disabilities. The fund, highlighted by the UN as an exemplar of best practice, has grown significantly. The MAPFRE AM Behavioural Fund, which targets undervalued companies suffering from psychological bias and irrational market behaviour, has also delivered excellent results. Another high-performance fund in the roster targets quality companies with good governance. MAPFRE AM identifies responsible investments as the cornerstone of its business model \u2014 and was the first Spanish manager to receive the prestigious French ISR label for sustainable investments. The CFI.co judging panel adds its own accolade, declaring MAPFRE AM as the 2021 Best ESG Asset Manager (Spain) award winner.<\/p>\n
