In the Dominican Republic, the Free Zone Corporation of Santiago (CZFS) attracts major international brands keen to take advantage of the park\u2019s accommodating regulatory framework. Companies can engineer a financial boost for themselves, and improve quality of life for communities, as well as the country. CZFS was founded in 1974, and its journey has been characterized by sustainable growth in scale and scope, as well as in production capacity and environmental and societal impacts. Over the years, the zone has doubled its manufacturing facilities \u2013 two million square-meters in area \u2013 and increased the scope of its community enrichment programs.
