ENGIE in Peru is one of the largest power generators of the country with 1,952 MW of installed capacity and 753 MW in construction. The company, part of the ENGIE Group (formerly GDF SUEZ), is actively engaged in the energy transition, taking the lead in the global move towards more sustainable forms of energy production.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Present in Peru since 1997, ENGIE has invested well over $2.3bn (1997-2018) through its ENGIE Energ\u00eda Peru subsidiary in which it owns a 61.77% stake. Backed up by one of the world\u2019s largest power generators, ENGIE Energ\u00eda Per\u00fa adheres to a comprehensive set of corporate social responsibility (CSR) policies and maintains a corporate framework that incorporates the latest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) parameters. Staff members receive extensive training on how to reduce the environmental impact of corporate operations and processes.
