The IFRC brings the world closer together and cuts through political, national, racial, religious and economic differences in helping humanitarian efforts across the globe and stands out as a force for good. What is less well known is that in order to achieve its goals, Society members raise over 50% of their revenue from a diverse range of commercial activities. Many of these efforts serve the dual purpose of achieving the stated aims of the IFRC while in addition providing revenue for other humanitarian work.
