Present in Macau since 1902, the Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU) remains a cornerstone of the former territory\u2019s \u2013 now a Chinese Special Administrative Region (SAR) \u2013 financial sector and a driver of its development. As part of the CGD network spanning four continents, Macau\u2019s Banco Nacional Ultramarino \u2013 now the sole bearer of a venerable name \u2013 maintained its global reach.<\/p>\n BNU\u2019s peerless knowledge of the Macau SAR, and over a century\u2019s worth of accumulated international experience, allow the bank to offer a vast range of financial products and services that seamlessly match \u2013 and are likely to exceed \u2013 the expectations of even the most demanding customers \u2013 both private and corporate. The judges remarked that while cognisant of its long history, the bank is consistently found at the leading edge of technological developments and, indeed, pioneered many innovations such as mobile and Internet banking.
