WIPRO started out as a vegetable oil manufacturer in 1945 and has been headed by Azim Premji since the late 1960s. Chairman Premji was described by Business Week <\/em>as India\u2019s Tech King (which according to the judges is just about right). The judges declared WIPRO a Corporate Leader in Asia because of the organisation\u2019s history of innovation and strong CSR policies – which focus to a large extent on the quality of school education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
