According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oldmutual.co.za\/v3\/assets\/blt0554f48052bb4620\/blt04bda80309427cd1\/638df58b0583b4495379c32c\/Responsible_Investment_Report_2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Old Mutual Investment Group\u2019s 2022 Responsible Investing (RI) report<\/a>, it had $24bn in AUM at the end of 2021. The group actively manages 217 portfolios and employs 51 research analysts, including five dedicated RI specialists. It leads the vanguard of responsible investing by integrating material ESG factors across investment decisions, practicing active asset stewardship and developing return-seeking products with targeted ethical and sustainability outcomes. The asset manager assists investee companies to achieve ESG excellence through active engagement and proxy voting. The group, which is committed to increasing black and female representation among business leaders, investment decision-makers, ownership and shareholding \u2014 engages with investee companies to encourage similar transformation targets.
