Stantec continues to build on the legacy created by its founder, Dr. Don Stanley, the first Canadian to earn a PhD in environmental engineering. From its start as a sole-proprietor operation in 1952, Stantec has evolved into a global design, engineering and sustainable consulting firm with a network of 26,000 employees and 400 offices across six continents. The company consistently ranks among the top ESG performers worldwide.
