Healthcare has begun to shift to a more holistic patient approach. Humana, a leading Nordic care brand, focuses on providing individual and family care, personal assistance, elderly care and housing with special services. Humana was founded in 2001 and listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm in 2016. Two decades of organic growth and strategic acquisitions have fuelled the company\u2019s regional expansion, from its home market of Sweden into Norway, Finland and Denmark. Humana believes everyone has the right to a good life and works with clients to develop care plans for a range of psychosocial problems, mental illnesses and functional impairments. The company has been named by Sustainability Brand Index<\/em> as the most sustainable health and care brand in Sweden for the third consecutive year. Humana operations, including many small-cap acquisitions with long histories, are united under a sustainable strategy centred around service quality, attractiveness as an employer, profitable growth and social responsibility. Humana is one of largest care companies in Sweden and a preferred provider across the Nordic region. It has built a diversified workforce of nearly 20,000 people. The onboarding process is well-structured, and each recruit undergoes extensive training on sustainability expectations. Throughout the pandemic, Humana has prioritised the health and safety of its people \u2014 residents and staff. \u00a0In 2021, it closed the deal on important acquisitions and opened five new nursing homes and six group homes.
