Established in 1999 as a RWTH Aachen University spin-off, aixigo supports wealth managers, banks, and financial services in their digitalisation programmes. With offices in Germany, Switzerland and the UK, the company has always been highly innovative and forward-looking. The founders, Prof. Dr. Rüdiger von Nitzsch, Erich Borsch and Christian Friedrich have strong academic backgrounds which has strongly influenced aixigo’s offering, especially in the early years. aixigo was soon to lead the market in e-learning tools. Through continuous development reflecting industry imperatives came the birth of its exemplary modular aixigo:BLOXX Wealth Management Platform which currently provides 31 BLOXX modules. This, the world’s fastest API-based wealth management platform, integrates seamlessly into existing user environments. It is flexible and facilitates the most innovative financial services. The technology is unique, and the needs of the end-user have been anticipated wisely. There is no sitting on laurels though, as the company is constantly considering future wealth management needs and has the knack of identifying opportunities early. Solid partnerships have been in place from the first days and aixigo has delivered strongly, for example, to BNP Paribas, the largest wealth manager in the eurozone (responsible for assets of 390bn euros). Two years ago, Arnaud Picut became aixigo CEO, and is well-placed to boost business in Asia as well as Europe. According to the judging panel, “aixigo is recognised as one of the world’s top WealthTech companies, and its superb offerings boast faultless regulatory compliance.” The panel confirms aixigo as winner of the 2023 award of Best Global WealthTech Influencer (Europe).
