Ak Leads the Field in Institutional Brokerage: Our 2013 Award Winner in Turkey

The CFI judging Panel has no hesitation in naming Ak Investment as ‘Best Institutional Broker, Turkey, 2013’.

Ak, a 99.8 percent owned subsidiary of the top Turkish bank of the same name, offers a comprehensive range of services with particular focus on institutional business. This is a fast-growing firm (headcount has doubled over the past four years) that is clearly very innovative: Ak has been at the forefront of electronic trading and is the only broker in the country to use their own trading algorithms. Ak is Turkey’s largest issuer of non-bank corporate bonds and boasts a very strong investment banking team. The Turkish market is very liquid and there is certainly no shortage of brokers but this major player is sufficiently nimble to take full advantage of all opportunities.
